Logo and brochure design for the Historic Uptown 300 Block, a collective of small business owners in Lancaster, PA.
The Challenge
In the 2010s Lancaster saw a renaissance of art and culture, including it’s First Friday events where local art galleries would stay open late the first Friday of each month. The 300 block of North Queen Street was a little off the beaten path, but wanted to participate in the monthly activities.
The Solution
Not Bad Design worked with the group’s board of directors to create a new logo and brand identity to give the area it’s own identity, yet feel like part of the booming art culture in Lancaster. As part of the branding we created a vendor guide and map that businesses could pass out to customers, highlighting the shops and studios along the corridor.
